Experimental Study on Heat Transfer and Adsorption Cooling Performance of MIL-101/Few Layer Graphene Composite

MIL-101 is a promising metal-organic frameworks (MOFs) material in adsorption chiller application due to its high capacity for water and excellent adsorption/desorption cyclic stability. Few layer graphene (FLG) as the thermal conductive additive was added into improve inferior heat transfer of cooling process. The characteristic MIL-101/FLG adsorber performance MIL-101/FLG-water working pair were studied. Results show that conductivity MIL-101/20%FLG composite 5.79-6.54 times MIL-101. Adding FLG conducive formation channels rapid removal heat. heating rate ~2.2 adsorber. Under typical conditions, specific power (SCP) coefficient (COP) 72.2–81.0 W kg−1 0.187–0.202, respectively, at desorption temperatures 70 °C 90 °C, which 1.43–1.56 higher than MIL-101-water pair. structural stability verified after 50 consecutive cycles. It can provide adsorbent candidate (MIL-101/FLG composite)
